Beneficiaries are the people who the trust is set up to benefit in the long run. These are the people that you want to be able to receive the firearms after your death. They can also use them during your life with your permission and in your presence. Typically, people name their children as beneficiaries, however, you can name other people are not family members as beneficiaries if you so choose. The distribution to your beneficiaries will be outright, which means your successor trustee will complete the necessary ATF paperwork (tax exempt form 5) to deliver the NFA firearms (and other trust assets) to your chosen beneficiaries. The items will not continue in trust after your death. If you desire for your trust to continue after your death (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for most people), you need to purchase the Gold Gun Trust or contact AZ Gun Law for the AZ Advanced Gun Trust. Trustees and beneficiaries can be the same person(s), or completely different people. List the full names of all of beneficiaries. Use a simple space and comma in between the names. If you only have one beneficiary, that is okay, however you need at least one beneficiary. Use this format "Jack Robert Doe, Jenny Katherine Doe, and Jeff Charles Doe" (no period at the end and please capitalize their names).
